The 100

I started watching this because i was really bored. First impression, low budget working and medium documentation. But fortunately, I really liked it. The show is really good!

A TV show should give you a break from the original so everything in it shouldn’t be perfect. It doesn’t need to explain scientifically to be correct! Television shows are stories, not the real world

The first few episodes will leave you with the unpleasant feeling of watching a teen drama written poorly. But trust me, it gets better and faster. The show is really interesting.

Here’s the Trailer:

100 is an American science fiction drama adapted for Jason Rothenberg’s CW, and is based on a novel series of the same name by Kass Morgan. The series follows a group of survivors returning to Earth, ninety-seven years after the nuclear apocalypse left the planet uninhabitable. Soon, they arrived at various locations of other survivors of the disaster, including the Gounders, the harvesters and the Mount Men.

The series stars Eliza Taylor as Clarke Griffin, as well as Paige TurcoThomas McDonellEli GoreeMarie AvgeropoulosBob MorleyChristopher LarkinDevon BostickIsaiah Washington, and Henry Ian CusickLindsey Morgan and Ricky Whittle, who recurred in the first season, joined the main cast for the second season. Richard Harmon was promoted to the main cast in the third season, after recurring in the first and second seasons. Zach McGowan, who recurred in the third, was promoted to the main cast for the fourth season. Tasya Teles was promoted to the main cast in the series’ fifth season, after appearing as a guest in the second and third seasons, and recurring in the fourth. Shannon Kook joined the main cast in the sixth season, after a guest appearance in the fifth. JR Bourne and Chuku Modu, who recurred in the sixth season, were promoted to the main cast in the seventh season, whilst Shelby Flannery had a guest appearance in the sixth season before joining the main cast in the seventh.

And Here’s the plot:

After the earth is destroyed by a nuclear war, the remaining people put together a giant space station called the “Ark” into space to survive.

Then after 97 years of living in space the counsel sends the 100 juvenile prisoners down to earth.

The 100 realize they are not the only ones on earth and they quickly adapt to their new home.

97 years after a devastating nuclear war wiped out almost all life on Earth,human kind is living in space, residing in twelve space stations.

The space stations banded together to form a single massive station named “The Ark”,  where about 2,400 people live.

After the Ark’s life support systems are found to be critically failing, one hundred juvenile  prisoners are declared “Expendable” and sent to the surface in a last ditch attempt to  determine if Earth is habitable again.

The teens arrive on a beautiful planet they’ve only seen from space. Apart for the people from the ark station

There are people on Earth who survived the war, called “Grounders” by the 100.

There is just one problem. The Ark was not meant to be a permanent solution. Even though the human figure has changed, all those years he has spent traveling on the sidewalk have left short breath. The world is believed to be unreliable, but no one knows. Set 97 years after a nuclear apocalypse,onboard a dying space station running out of air. 100 juvenile prisoners are sent back to earth to see if it is habitable.
