Kick-out boredom in this lockdown. I have prepared a bucket list for you guys, flavor from each year since the year 2000. The list is not THE ONLY king or queen to humor in the world but it sure has few kings and queens of comedy in them; from Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler to Melissa McCarthy and Anne Hathaway and many more. I absolutely love all of the mentions and these are super easy to find as well. Let’s drench in some entertainment people.
1.WHAT WOMEN WANT (2000)
BEGINNING WITH A CLASSIC! It was hilarious when Mr. Marshall was not being able to digest how women had thought initially. I mean back firing complements and notions were surely too harsh to recognize, weren’t they? Hahahaha!
2. THE ACCIDENTAL SPY (2001)
Jackie Chan’s action with comedy will not let you interrupt the movie. Let me know your reaction where he had to dress up like this.
3. TWO WEEKS NOTICE (2002)
A rom-com it is, worth your time and attention. It is adorable with subtle humor.
4. JOHNNY ENGLISH (2003)
A spy who has everything in his control. Didn’t sound right? Ofcourse, it did not because he is Mr. Bean and he has to continue his legacy with his clumsy mistakes and innocently-striking decisions.
5. AROUND THE WORLD IN EIGHTY DAYS (2004)
I was unable to find one boring scene in this movie. It will make you want to see the world for yourself and wish for similar companions from the movie.
6. THE PACIFIER (2005)
A stud taking care of home alone kids. Imagine the failure at disciplining them!
7. SHE’S THE MAN (2006)
If I could pull that much perfection at impersonation my people would find me spying and snuggling through target groups LOL!
8. NORBIT (2007)
Eddie Murphy pulled not just one, not two but three roles in the movie. Unique, funny and spicy! The king’s one of the best of all times.
9. GET SMART (2008)
Steve Carrell in the house! Mistaken for “cabin and reports” guy, guess who was laughing in the end? Cool guys were! But we were laughing throughout for sure.
10. LAND OF THE LOST (2009)
Another bragging professional twirled by dangerous events. I mean to blend in the wild he went to “gather research” which meant to extract dinosaur’s urine. And for what? Supposedly for genetic engineering by bathing in it. Hahaha!
11. GROWN-UPS (2010)
This has been my all-time favorite as it never grows old. I thank HBO for introducing me to these grown-ups who showed us that it was okay to mess up. Generation-gap can be embraced in new and old fashion. Realization and correction was important, as long as we were rolling on floor at each other’s dumb mistakes.
12. THE CHANGE UP (2011)
A bachelor turned a father in one day. Just one day! To see how he dwindled at the job while his friend on the other hand lived his struggle was so fun.
13. WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING (2012)
A daddy crew with daddy secrets Hahahaha! It was lovely to see how loving and supportive all husbands were, doing their best hysterically.
14. THE HEAT (2013)
Melissa McArthy. Sandra Bullock. Top notch-comical. Rocked it. Watch it yourself, I cannot ruin it by telling a word of the story.
15. BLENDED (2014)
Adam and Drew bloom on the screen and make you fall in love with them. I have laughed, cried, felt loved, experienced gratitude and optimism through this vacation. This will forever be from the cream of entertainment for me.
16. SPY / DADDY’S HOME (2015)
I could not resist mentioning two comedies from the same year. An ignored-woman from the ground rescues her organization’s mission and other agents. Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham one-on-one made me giggle, cringe and laugh.
How come dad jokes are lame when we have so many dad comedies in the list? They are the best.
17. CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE (2016)
When best friends make a movie, it turns out to be epic!
18. JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE (2017)
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart make my tummy hurt, oh God, Kevin’s impressions are beyond funny.
19. LIFE OF THE PARTY (2018)
Okay fine I AM a Melissa McCarthy fan! But it is for a reason. This movie was about evolution, passion and taught us about our dreams. All lessons learnt through pure joy.
20. PLAYING WITH FIRE / THE HUSTLE (2019)
Both movies were A-MAZING! Keegan Micheal Key is the charmer of the movie and I never knew John Cena could act let alone he could be great at making us laugh hard.
Whereas, unusual on-screen paring of Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway blew me away. Pumped with sarcasm and flavor of youthful comedy. Absolutely amazing!
Let your mind take some rest from ticking news and enjoy this list (serious criticism aside). I am looking forward to happy responses.
