We’re seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to support financial processes, manage internal operations, and contribute to cross-functional efficiency across projects, departments, and vendors.

Role Summary

The Finance & Operations Associate is a hybrid role that blends financial oversight with process-driven operational support. You’ll assist with budgeting, vendor payments, reporting, documentation, and administrative systems to help ensure Siffar runs like a well-oiled machine.

This is an onsite position based in Islamabad, ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, communicates clearly, and enjoys optimizing systems behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and monitoring of project budgets, monthly reports, and cost forecasting.
  • Maintain and track accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and staff reimbursements.
  • Coordinate invoicing, payment approvals, and communication with third-party service providers.
  • Oversee day-to-day internal operations such as resource planning, tool subscriptions, and documentation workflows.
  • Support financial compliance, tax filings, and expense categorization under the supervision of senior finance staff.
  • Maintain contracts, SLAs, and service agreements with vendors and freelancers.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely communication of project deliverables, approvals, and timelines.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or operations roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, invoicing, and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or other financial systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with agency operations, project management tools, or procurement processes.

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, fintech apps, or online accounting platforms
  • Experience working in a digital, tech, or creative environment
  • Basic understanding of reporting metrics or analytics dashboards
